Obviously that's not my picture. But these are my new best friends Snickerdoodle Blondies. Try this recipe if you like foods that are so delicious that you instantly want to eat them by the pan and possibly consider moving to some distant uninhabited foreign country so you can eat them in peace. (Because trust me, once these come out of the oven, they will disappear.)

I saw this post and made them today. They are delicious! I didn't make the glaze because I didn't have whipping cream, but they were still wonderful without them. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI left out the cinnamon chips and used milk for the glaze, the glaze turned out fine, but it totally wasn't necessary! The bars would have been just as good on their own.
ReplyDeleteI would like to take back my "thanks" and say "thanks a lot" instead. I've decided my thighs can't handle these treats. Too good. I gave most of them away to Stephanie before I ate the whole pan and gained 20 pounds. I didn't use the chips either. In fact, I've never heard of cinnamon chips and that's good to know that the glaze isn't really necessary. I was wondering if I had ruined the experience by not putting it on top. :)
ReplyDeleteI was lucky, I had roommates to help me eat those suckers. I also had to pawn some off on some poor un-expecting boys from my ward.
